I miss the days of big gatherings and meeting up with photographer friends on a whim! This shoot was right after Thanksgiving in 2019, we were in Maryland visiting Derek’s family. My best friend/sorority sister/college neighbor, Holly Croft, is an extremely talented and authentic photographer. So naturally when she mentioned she had some free time to snap photos of Derek & I during one of her “Mini Sessions” I had to jump on the opportunity.
As it was a spur of the moment shoot, we just pulled outfits together from what we packed. Luckily I had packed this horse cardigan I bought so long ago. I wore this cardigan on a pumpkin picking double date Derek and I went on when we first started dating. We took the cutest picture that day, and I always try to recreate it on outings.
